1. Create and Send the Quote in Quoter
Generate the quote in Quoter.
For a detailed walkthrough, refer to the official support article from Quoter.
Once ready, send the quote to your customer.
2. Customer Must Accept the Quote
In order for payment to be processed through Benji Pays, the customer must click “Accept Quote.”
3. Select Payment Method (If Applicable)
If you offer multiple payment options, the customer must select “Benji Pays” as the payment method.
4. Enter Payment Details
Once the quote is accepted:
The Benji Pays payment screen will appear.
The screen will display the available payment method(s) you have enabled (e.g., credit card, ACH/EFT).
The customer needs to enter their payment details to proceed.
Your Benji Pays Portal and Pay Now link settings determine whether customers must save their payment information to their account, or whether saving is optional.

4A. Reviewing Your Portal and Pay Now link settings
- Navigate to: Settings → Portal and Pay Now link Settings
- Based on your organizational operations configure the following toggles and save
Note: Benji Pays does not have visibility into quotes or estimates in your accounting software. It only handles payments and invoice pairing.
5. Payment Processing and Holding
Once payment is submitted:
You will receive an email with details about your payment and instructions for the next steps on how to apply the payment and linked the saved payment profile.
The payment will appear under “Payments to Apply” in Benji Pays.
This payment will remain there until an invoice is created in your accounting system for the corresponding quote.
After the invoice exists, the payment can be manually paired.
How to Apply the Payment in Benji Pays
Navigate to: Transactions → Payments to Apply
Click “Apply” next to the relevant payment.
From the dropdown, select the correct customer and Invoice (matching the one associated with the quote).
Click “Apply Payment” to finalize.
How to Link the Payment Profile to Customers Account in Benji Pays
Navigate to: Payment Profiles → Payment Info Requests
Locate the customer’s payment profile
Find the payment profile associated with the customer.
Click on the orange infinity icon under the Action column.
Select the customer
A new window will open
In the new window, choose the correct customer account to link the payment profile to
