How to Integrate Benji Pays and Quoter

Here are the steps to get Benji Pays and Quoter working together to help collect payments for accepted quotes.


How It Works:

  1. Customer receives quote: The customer gets a quote via your Quoter account.
  2. Customer accepts quote: The customer clicks 'Accept Quote.'
  3. Quote acceptance confirmation email sent: The customer receives an email with your Benji Pays billing link to make a payment.
  4. Payment recorded: The payment is stored and available to be applied to an invoice in your accounting system via Benji Pays under Transactions >> Payments To Apply.
  5. Customer receives receipt: The customer gets a payment receipt with the transaction details.
  6. Your team receives confirmation: A confirmation email is sent with steps to apply the payment.

Step 1: Get Your Benji Pays Custom Payment Link

  1. Log in to your Benji Pays account at www.benjipays.com.
  2. Navigate to Settings >> Custom Payment Links.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the PSA/ERP section.
  4. Find the Quoter logo, then click the Copy button for the appropriate link.
  5. Go to Settings >> Customer Portal Settings and adjust these settings under Portal and Pay Now link settings:
    • Enable “Add 'I’m not a robot' reCAPTCHA.”
    • Ensure “Do not allow payments to be made if the invoice is not found...” is turned off.
  6. Click Save Portal Settings.



Step 2: Adjust Payment Settings in Your Quoting Platform

  1. Log in to your Quoter account and navigate to Templates.
  2. Click the Pencil Icon to edit the desired template.
  3. Click the Acceptance & Payments tab.
  4. Enable Electronic Acceptance.
  5. Under Payments, select Disabled to turn off Quoter’s built-in payments.



Step 3: Insert Your Benji Pays Custom Payment Link into Confirmation Messages

If you already have a Thank You or Confirmation screen set up, skip this step.

  1. Go to Settings > Labels & Messages and select the Emails tab.
  2. Create or edit your Thank You Confirmation email template.
  3. Add this text to the email:
Please use the following link to complete your payment:
<<paste your Benji Pays custom payment link here>>
Example:
https://yourbenjiportalname/portal/pay/?transactionAmount=##RawQuoteUpfrontTotal##&customerName=##CustomerOrganization##

Step 4: Start Collecting Payments! ?

Once the setup is complete, your customers can seamlessly pay for their accepted quotes through Benji Pays.
