With the Halo integration, Benji Pays attempts to lookup the invoice in Halo by matching the invoice number, if exactly one invoice is found that matches in Halo Benji Pays will attach the PDF from Halo. If no invoices, or more than one invoice is found in Halo for the invoice number, then Benji Pays can optionally default back to the Xero/QBD or QBO invoice PDF if this feature is enabled in your HaloPSA configuration.
