Adding tax to each line item in QuickBooks Online

To add tax to each line item on your invoice in QuickBooks Online follow the steps below:



Step 1:  Log into QuickBooks.



Step 2: Click on "Account and settings".




Step 3: Click on "Sales" and then click "Customize look and feel".









Step 4: Click on the "Edit" button next to your invoice template.








Step 5: Click "Content" and to the right, click on the middle section of the invoice where Activity: Item names and description are listed.










Step 6: Check the empty box to the left of the word "Tax" and then click "Done".
