Modified on Fri, 22 Dec, 2023 at 10:02 AM

What is an integrated pay now link?

Our integrated pay now links allow you to send your invoices to your customers by email and include a payment link that is integrated with your merchant account.  You send these emails just as you do now, right from your accounting system, allowing you to keep your current workflow intact.

How do they work?

The video below will show you how the Xero integrated pay now links work in Benji Pays.

How do I set these up?

Setting up your Xero integrated pay now links is easy thanks to our tight integration and partnership with Xero.

Step 1 - Setup your payment gateway connection

The first step is to set up your payment gateway connection in Benji Pays.  Please see our support articles on how to setup your payment gateway connection here.  If you still need to complete this step,  come back here once complete.

Step 2 - Connect your Benji Pays payment service to a Xero Branding Theme

    1. In Benji Pays, navigate to Settings >> Payment Gateway Settings

    2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you see the Xero Branding Themes

  1. You can use the drop down list in the Payment Services column on the branding theme you'd like to select the Benji Pays payment service that was created for you when you set up your payment gateway connection.
  2. Click Save
  3. Repeat the steps 3 and 4 if you would like your Benji Pays links to be used on more than one branding theme.

If you have more than one payment gateway set up in Benji Pays, you will have a payment service set up in Xero for each of your gateways. You will need to have a branding theme set up in Xero for each of your payment gateways. You can then choose the appropriate gateway in the drop down list in Step 2 for each branding themes.

Your branding theme(s) will now be configured to use your Benji Pays integrated pay now links.  When you send your invoices to your clients, they will now be able to pay online via your Benji Pays integration.
