Missing Customers in Benji Pays

Discover why your customers might not appear in Benji Pays and learn how to resolve the issue for both QuickBooks Online/Xero and QuickBooks Desktop.

For QuickBooks Online and Xero:

  1. Real-Time Updates: Normally, when a customer is added or edited in your cloud accounting system, Benji Pays is automatically notified and updated within around 5 minutes.


  2. Delays May Occur: Sometimes, issues with your cloud accounting provider's systems can cause delays of minutes, hours, or even days.


  3. Force Data Fetch:


  4. Go to the "Customers" section.




  1. Click the refresh button provided.



  2. Wait briefly and refresh your page; your customer data should now be visible.

For QuickBooks Desktop:

Check Web Connector:

Ensure Intuit Web Connector is running without errors.

No errors should be displayed in the web connector console.


  1. Review Sync Logs:


  2. In Benji Pays, navigate to Transactions >> QuickBooks Desktop Sync Logs.Verify that there are no errors in recent logs with a time stamp after the customer's addition/edit in QuickBooks.If logs are outdated or errors are present, address these issues and run the web connector synchronization again.
